Short food supply chains are conceptualized like the commercial relationship in which the consumer creates a direct connection with the producer, thus, knowing the origin of the products. In public policies such as the Food Acquisition Program, the organization of projects under the concepts of Short food supply chains assists in their management. In this context, when delimiting such circuits on the spatial dimension the geoinformation can be a fundamental element. The purpose of this article is to implement geodatabase solutions that will help the operation of Short food supply chains. The methodology of the work is based on projects of maps and geographic information systems in which they comprise the following steps: 1) Description of the users and their needs; 2) Definition of tasks and spatial analysis; 3) Design of the solution in geoinformation to carry out the proposed spatial analysis; and 4) Implementation of the proposed project. The results were the geodatabase as well as the interface prototype. The development of this work was an initiation of the discussion of the concept in the context of the development of information systems. For future work, it is proposed the delimitation of Short food supply chains by the relational dimension. In addition, developing a solution for mobile devices is critical.

Os circuitos curtos de comercialização conceitua-se como a relação comercial na qual o consumidor cria uma ligação direta com o produtor, assim, conhecendo a procedência dos produtos. Nas políticas públicas como o Programa de Aquisição de Alimentos a organização de projetos sob os conceitos de circuitos curtos de comercialização auxilia na gestão dos mesmos. Neste contexto, ao delimitar tais circuitos sobre a dimensão espacial a geoinformação pode ser elemento fundamental. O presente artigo tem por objetivo implementação de soluções de banco de dados geográficos que auxilie a operacionalização de circuitos curtos de comercialização. A metodologia do trabalho é baseada em projetos de mapas e de sistemas de informações geográficos no qual compreendem as seguintes etapas: 1) Descrição dos usuários e suas necessidades; 2) Definição das tarefas e análises espaciais; 3) Projeto da solução em geoinformação para execução das análises espaciais propostas; e 4) Implementação do projeto proposto. Os resultados foram o banco de dados geográficos, bem como o protótipo da interface. O desenvolvimento deste trabalho foi uma iniciação da discussão do conceito no contexto do desenvolvimento de sistemas de informações. Para trabalhos futuros é proposto a delimitação de circuitos curtos de comercialização pela dimensão relacional. Além disso, é fundamental o desenvolvimento de uma solução para dispositivos móveis.

Productivity of sugarcane (Saccharum spp.) crops varies at each cutting stage, reaching critical rates close to the fifth cut (fourth ratoon). Knowledge of proteins involved in the regrowth of sugarcane within the cutting process is important for the development of cultivars with greater longevity. The present study presents new information that the proteome of axillary buds is changed in successive cuts in sugarcane culture. Proteins were identified by UPLC-ESI-Q-TOF (ultra-high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with electrospray ionisation–quadrupole–time-of-flight) mass spectrometry and the Mascot tool. A reduction in the number of proteins was evident in the axillary buds of the fifth cut, as well as a reduction in the number of proteins exclusively detected in the axillary buds with the first cut, an indicator of reduction in the expression of genes that may be essential for the stability of culture development. The reduction in agricultural productivity, sprouting and tillering at advanced stages of the sugarcane crop is accompanied by alterations in axillary-bud gene expression, where <50% of the proteins (47.65%) were detected in both the first (plant cane) and in the fifth (fourth ratoon) cutting stage, whereas >50% (52.35%) were expressed in either the axillary buds of the plant cane or the axillary buds of the fourth ratoon.
